Training and Workshops

Carers MK runs a varied programme of training and workshops for carers. These range from practical skills such as first aid and manual handling through to workshops on particular health conditions.

Carers who wish to attend a workshop are requested to book themselves a place as numbers are always limited. For workshops covering specific health conditions, preference will be given to those carers looking after someone affected by that condition.

As places are limited on our workshops we do operate waiting lists and carers on the list will be contacted if places become available. If we run the same workshop again then carers on the waiting list will be given priority for places.

We are keen to respond to the needs of carers and so if you have any ideas for future workshops then please do let us know.
