Young Carers and Young Adult Carers Team Leader – Carers Bucks

Hours: 37 hours per week (you will need to have flexibility to work on occasional weekends and in the evenings for pre-planned events for which you will receive TOIL)

Location: Hybrid – working flexibly from home or in the community with attendance at meetings in our Aylesbury office as and when required.

Our carers, aged between 5 and 25, provide support to a parent, sibling or other family member due to disability, a long-term illness, poor mental health and/or addiction. You will lead and provide day to day operational management to the YC and YAC team (all of whom work from home or in the community) so that they can effectively provide support to these young people whilst also raising awareness of Carers Bucks services across Buckinghamshire.

Young Carers Play and Activity Worker – Carers MK

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, to be worked flexibly (including some evening work)

Location: Hybrid model, to be worked flexibly from home, or in the community, with occasional visits to our Bletchley Office as required.

To support young carers access respite opportunities, helping them develop new skills, improve their confidence, and allow them time away from their caring role. You will lead in the planning, co-ordination and delivery of young carer’s clubs, groups and activities throughout the year in accordance with organisational budgets.

Adult Carers Support Workers – Carers Bucks and Carers MK

Hours: We have various opportunities available. 15 hours, 22.5 hours, 30 hours, or 37 hours (FT) per week.
These would ordinarily be worked between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Please specify what you would ideally be looking to work in your covering letter.

Location: We have opportunities across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. Please specify which office you would prefer to have as your base in your covering letter; Aylesbury (HP19 8HT) or Milton Keynes (MK3 6DP). Under a hybrid model you will work flexibly from home, in the community and with occasional visits to your office base, as agreed with your manager and in line with the needs of the charity.

To work effectively as a member of the Adult Carers Support team, offering advice, information, guidance and emotional support to unpaid adult carers who are caring for a family member or friend due to disability, long-term illness, frailty, poor mental health or addiction.

Administrator – Carers Bucks and Carers MK

Hours: 37 hours per week (Part time hours may be considered for the right candidate)

Location: Under a hybrid-working model, you will work a minimum of 2 days a week from home. The rest of the time will be spent working flexibly from home, at one of our offices (Aylesbury or Bletchley), or in the community. This will be agreed in line with organisational requirements, and you will be able to claim mileage costs.

To provide day-to-day administrative support to staff at Carers Bucks and Carers MK so that they can continue to deliver our vital services to the highest standards.
