How Do I Join The Young Carers MK Service?

A professional service that is either supporting you or a family makes a referral to Carers MK (e.g. school staff, children services or medical staff) we will then contact to let you know that a referral has been received and is being processed.

A support worker from our team will call to introduce themselves and book in an opportunity to meet the young carer and their family.

We will then ask some questions in regards to your caring role and let you know about the services that we provide and that are relevant to you.

After your assessment, as a team we discuss the best level of support we can provide to you.

We then write to you to let you know the tailored approach.
