To celebrate National Poetry Day on 3rd October 2024, we invited carers to enter our Poetry Competition. Carers had to write and submit an original poem with the theme of “What Does Caring Mean To You?”

We were overwhelmed by the number of entries we received, and it was wonderful to read so many amazing poems. Many of the carers who submitted poems said that they enjoyed having the opportunity to sit down and be creative and have some “me time”.

It was a difficult task narrowing down our top three favourite entries, as there were so many fantastic poems. We would like to thank everyone who submitted their poems and congratulate the carers who wrote our top three favourite entries!
